The Hatchery is a registered member of The Hubs Network Ghana, Social Enterprise Ghana, and is a partner to The Rotary, Global Entrepreneurship Network and various other affiliations.
The Hatchery is well versed in running Business Plan Competitions using various channels including social media outlets and NBSSI Business Advisory Services for those outside Accra We will access the NBSSI platform which has over 60,000 social enterprises registered, the SE Ghana Network, GAWE and GADIA Platforms which also have thousands of women social entrepreneurs.
An experiential, participatory learning approach using the PROBE Approach coupled with elements of the CEFE methodology and the Lean Canvas is what we use in training social entrepreneurs (defined as “individuals who develop economically sustainable solutions to social problems”).
The Hatchery’s unique approach out of all the incubators and accelerators in Ghana is its focus on individual capacity building and investment readiness for entrepreneurs in the specific industries that they work in serves. This includes a thorough revision of their business model while at the same time exposing them to strong local and global networks to give them the requisite tools and skills to access markets our entrepreneurs with access to our local networks.
